What's the difference between ANOC's Home Care, and Institutional Home Care?

Most seniors when given the choice want to remain in the comfort and safety of their own home. The emotional attachment and familiarity of the past are benefits that they cannot receive in an institutionalized setting.Care at home can improve the quality of life. By remaining in their home, with proper care, seniors are able to maintain the lifestyle they are accustomed to enjoying. Keeping their life long possessions and familiar surroundings are insurmountable.

• One-on-one care is rarely available in an institutionalized setting and does not allow our clients to build relationships and receive continuity of care. ANOC’sCare Specialist’s devote 100% of their attention to ensuring our clients get proper nutrition and hydration, avoid wandering, and injuries and much more…

• Receiving care at home delivers many benefits. It allows our client to be independent andempowers them to have greater freedom and peace of mind. The inability to accomplish the basic activities of daily living shouldn’t force a senior to dependence in an institution.

• ANOC care optionsfor home careare safer as Institutionalized residents are at high risk for developing acute illnesses such as pneumonia, dehydration, and even antibiotic-resistant Staphylococcus infections. In a facility it is difficult when attending to many residents. It makes it muchharder to control cross contamination from one infected resident to another. The one-on-one personal attention by A Care Specialist lowers the risk of infections.
